The Teacher

As a group of parents we have researched and discussed the logistics and philosophy of starting a community school and feel it is now necessary to bring in the expertise of a teacher or group of teachers to bring this vision to fruition. 

This teacher would need to be;

• Very clear with our intention and philosophy
• Able to work closely with parents
• Strong enough to captain the ship
• Strength of character to carry the vision through
• Grounded
• Long term commitment to see the project through
• Excellent communication
• Artisan, experienced, career teacher
• Passionate
• Committed and committed to seeing it work
• Someone who cares about the project and is invested in seeing is succeed
• Open and non-judgmental of the children and parents
• Aware that this will be a labour of love in the first instance so a teacher who really cares about the school
